A visual representation of a real scene. The Pickle Church, built in 1883, is located in far southeast Iowa away from all the city lights. Comet Neowsie visited us in the northern sky of the northern hemisphere. Both the Comet and church image were carefully shot and processed so that this image could come to life. With the Pickle church faces due south which makes this image a scene you would have seen if you had been standing here on the night of the comet.
